Durrës Day Trip + Winery Visit

Day Trip Details

We'll meet at the indicated time at Rruga e Dibrës and drive to Durres, one of the most important cities in Albania.

After approximately 50 minutes' drive, we'll reach our destination and begin our guided tour of Durres.

First, we'll head to the Roman amphitheatre, one of the largest in the Balkan Peninsula. During the visit to its ruins, we'll learn about its history and architecture.

After the Roman amphitheatre, we'll visit the Sfinksi Monument, which offers views of the coast and the city. Next, we'll explore the historic centre of Durrës, strolling through lively streets filled with cafés, historic buildings and markets while discussing the city's origins.

The tour will then continue to the Duka winery, a 30-minute drive away. Upon arrival, we'll start a 40-minute tour about the winemaking process and the local grape varieties.

After the tour, we'll enjoy a traditional lunch of homemade Raki, including appetizers, a meat main course, a fresh salad, dessert, wines from the cellar, and water.

Following lunch, you'll have free time to relax by the lake near the winery, choosing between a kayak or a boat ride.

Finally, we'll regroup and return to the meeting point in Tirana, concluding this 8-hour tour.
