Travel back in time with this trip to the town of Kruje from Tirana. You will visit its castle and explore the medieval bazaar.
Kruje Trip
At 9 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Tirana. We will head north to the town of Kruje, just one hour away.
There we will visit the Kruje Castle, which houses the Skanderbeg Museum, named after Jorge Castriota, also known as "Skanderbeg". Inside, we will admire a collection of 15th-century artifacts, including a collection of armor and a reproduction of Skanderbeg's helmet.
After the museum, we will walk through the Kruja bazaar, where popular items include kilim (carpets) and eleshe (traditional hats), among other souvenirs.
Finally, we will return to your hotel in Tirana by 2 pm.
