Tour to Tequila + Jose Cuervo Express Train

At 8 am, we'll meet at Casa José Cuervo in San Pedro Tlaquepaque. From there, a bus will take us to the agave fields of Tequila to learn about the origins of this popular drink.

Tequila originates from agave, a plant adapted to arid climates. We'll observe its cultivation and attend a jima demonstration.

Next, we visit the La Rojeña distillery of José Cuervo, where we will explore the elaboration process of tequila and taste different varieties accompanied by a light snack. We'll also visit the Juan Beckmann Gallardo cultural center to learn about the history of the area.

You will have 2 hours free for lunch and to explore the town of Tequila. Don't miss the 17th-century parish church of Santiago Apóstol. We will reconvene for a Mexican folklore and mariachi music show.

After the show, we will head to the Jose Cuervo Express station, Mexico's only old-style train. Onboard, enjoy a magical sunset over the agave fields.

Our excursion concludes at 8 pm at the Ferrocarriles Mexicanos station in Guadalajara.
