Tour to Tequila + Jose Cuervo Express Train

The excursion to Tequila includes a ticket for the Jose Cuervo Express train. At 8 am, we meet at Casa José Cuervo in San Pedro Tlaquepaque and board a bus to the agave fields of Tequila to learn about the origins of this popular drink.

We will explore the cultivation of agave and attend a jima demonstration. Next, we visit the La Rojeña distillery of José Cuervo to uncover the secrets of tequila and its elaboration process. During this visit, we will taste different varieties of tequila with a light snack. We will also tour the Juan Beckmann Gallardo cultural center to learn about the region's history.

Participants will have 2 hours free for lunch and exploring Tequila, including a visit to the 17th-century parish church of Santiago Apóstol. Afterward, we will enjoy a Mexican folklore and mariachi music show.

Following the show, we will proceed to the Jose Cuervo Express station, the only old-style train in Mexico. Onboard, we will experience a magical sunset over the agave fields.

The excursion concludes at 8 pm at the Ferrocarriles Mexicanos station in Guadalajara.
