Tour to Tequila + Jose Cuervo Express Train

Don't miss this excursion to Tequila, including a ticket for the Jose Cuervo Express train. We will meet at Casa José Cuervo in San Pedro Tlaquepaque at 8 am and board a bus to the agave fields of Tequila to learn about the origin of tequila.

Tequila is derived from the agave plant. We will observe its cultivation and participate in a jima demonstration.

Next, we will visit the La Rojeña distillery of José Cuervo, where we will learn the details of tequila's elaboration process and taste various tequila varieties alongside a light snack. Additionally, we will explore the Juan Beckmann Gallardo cultural center to understand the history of the region.

After the distillery, you will have 2 hours free for lunch and to explore Tequila, including a visit to the 17th-century parish church of Santiago Apóstol. We will later reconvene for a Mexican folklore and mariachi music show.

Following the show, we will head to the Jose Cuervo Express station, the only old-style train in Mexico. While aboard, enjoy a magical sunset over the agave fields.

The excursion concludes at 8 pm at the Ferrocarriles Mexicanos station in Guadalajara.
