Two of the most beautiful Magical Towns of Tlaxcala await you on this excursion to Huamantla and Tlaxco. We will learn about ancient traditions and visit notable sites.

Huamantla & Tlaxco Tour

Between 9 and 9:30 am, we will pick you up at your chosen meeting point and head by minibus to Huamantla. Located at 2,400 meters (7874 feet) above sea level, Huamantla is known for its cattle-raising tradition and Art Nouveau architecture. We will stroll through the historic center and visit the puppet museum, which showcases up to 500 pieces.

Next, we will proceed to Tlaxco with a stop in José María Morelos Buenavista to visit the Barca de la Fe, a church replicating the vessel that accompanied Columbus. After this, we will explore a 'pulque hacienda' to discover how pulque is produced. A drink will be served, followed by a two-course lunch with dessert and beverages at the hacienda's restaurant.

Our final stop will be Tlaxco, where we will walk through the old town, observing its colonial architecture and history. We will also visit an artisan cheese factory during this guided tour.

The tour concludes with returns to the starting points between 4:30 pm and 5 pm.
