Leave behind the bright lights and hustle-bustle of Tokyo for a day and instead immerse yourself in the natural scenery that surrounds the famous Mount Fuji. An unmissable opportunity to experience the iconic Japanese symbol by land, sea and air.
Mount Fuji Day Trip
Experiencing Mount Fuji, Japan's most revered symbol, is essential on your trip to Tokyo. We'll begin by meeting at the designated location and taking a bus to the Fifth Fuji Station, the gateway to exploring this breathtaking natural wonder. If weather conditions prevent us from going beyond the fourth station, we'll visit Oshino Hakkai instead.
After a short 2-hour drive, we'll arrive at the port, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of Mount Fuji from over 2,000 meters (6,561 feet) above sea level. Afterwards, we'll head to a local restaurant near Mount Fuji for a buffet-style lunch.
Once we have re-energized, we'll soar above the landscape in the Hakone or Komagatake cable car, depending on the day, offering aerial views of the region's mountains. On a clear day, Mount Fuji will be visible.
The cable car will take us to Ashi Lake, where we will enjoy a boat ride. This unique experience will be memorable.
Finally, we'll take a bus to Odawara Station, where we will board the Shinkansen bullet train to Tokyo's station. Alternatively, you can take the bus back.
This day trip will take between 10 and 11 hours, depending on the tour option selected.
