Leave behind the bright lights and hustle-bustle of Tokyo for a day and instead immerse yourself in the natural scenery that surrounds the famous Mount Fuji. An unmissable opportunity to experience the iconic Japanese symbol by land, sea and air.
Mount Fuji Day Trip
Experiencing the iconic Mount Fuji, Japan's most revered symbol, is a must on your trip to Tokyo. We'll begin by meeting at the designated location and then take a bus to the Fifth Fuji Station, the gateway to exploring this natural wonder. If weather conditions restrict access beyond the fourth station, we'll visit Oshino Hakkai instead.
After a 2-hour drive, we'll arrive at the port for a panoramic view of Mount Fuji from over 2,000 meters (6,561 feet) above sea level. Following this, we will have a buffet-style lunch at a local restaurant near Mount Fuji.
After lunch, we'll soar above the landscape in the Hakone or Komagatake cable car, offering aerial views of the region's mountains. If it's clear, we'll also see Mount Fuji.
The cable car will take us to Ashi Lake for an unforgettable boat ride, providing a unique experience. Lastly, we will take a bus to Odawara Station, where you can choose to return to Tokyo on the Shinkansen bullet train or by bus.
This day trip will take between 10 and 11 hours depending on the tour option selected.
