Spend a full day enjoying Mount Fuji, one of the most beautiful sights in Japanese nature. Admire spectacular landscapes and go fruit picking - an unmissable opportunity!

Day Trip Details

We’ll begin our adventure at the LOVE sculpture next to Shinjuku Station. From this meeting point in Tokyo, we’ll travel to the Kawaguchiko Lake Cable Car station, which will take us up Mount Fuji for 360-degree panoramic views.

The cable car will bring us to the fifth station of Mount Fuji, where you’ll experience stunning scenery. After the views, we’ll return to the base of the mountain by cable car.

Next, we’ll head to a nearby restaurant by Lake Kawaguchi for a delicious Japanese lunch featuring a traditional udon noodle dish. After lunch, we’ll continue by bus to Yamanashi Fuji Fruit Park.

At the park, you’ll have the chance to pick and taste seasonal fruits if it’s harvest season. From mid-July to mid-August, it’s peach season. Between mid-August and early October, you’ll pick grapes. From mid-October through November, berries are available.

After fruit-picking, we’ll tour the Mount Fuji area along Lake Kawaguchi's shores, stopping at Oishi Park. If you visit on or after October 29, we’ll visit the Maple Corridor to admire autumn foliage.

Finally, we’ll return by bus to the original meeting point in Tokyo, concluding this full-day tour after approximately 10 and a half hours.

Itinerary Changes

The fifth station can only be visited from late July to mid-September or the end of September, during which time we'll first climb by cable car and then take a bus directly to the fifth station. If your trip is outside these dates, you’ll visit a seasonal site with incredible views of Mount Fuji in a relaxed environment.

If the date you want for this activity isn’t available, we recommend checking out alternative day trips to Hakone and the Mount Fuji viewpoint.
