Day Trip Details

At the designated time, meet your guide at the Shinjuku LOVE Object in Tokyo. Departing Tokyo, you will head towards the viewpoint at the Fifth Station of Mount Fuji, arriving after a 2-hour drive.

You'll have 30 minutes at this viewpoint to enjoy the views of Mount Fuji, followed by a visit to a nearby restaurant for a Japanese-style lunch. The menu includes udon noodle soup, seafood salad, lemon chicken, fried egg with sauce, gobo, konjac, and nori seaweed rice, with vegetarian or vegan options available.

After lunch, you'll take the Hakone Ropeway from Togendai station to Owakudani, where you can learn about Japan's volcanic activity and enjoy scenic views. Then, experience a 30-minute pirate ship cruise on Lake Ashi.

You'll then board a bus to Hakone Yumoto or Odawara train stations to conclude the trip. If you have a Japan Rail Pass, you can return to Tokyo or travel elsewhere. If you don't have the pass, tickets will be provided for your return to Tokyo via the Shinkansen bullet train, arriving 10 hours after the tour starts.

Returning to Tokyo allows for travel to Shinjuku Station by bullet train, arriving between 9 and 10 hours after the tour begins.

If the Hakone cable car or pirate ship is not operational, alternative activities include Hakone Komagatake cable car, Hakone Ashi Lake boat cruise, Kawaguchi Lake cruise, Mount Fuji scenic cable car, Mishima Skywalk, Odawara Castle, Hakone Venetian Glass Museum, Hakone-en Aquarium, Narukawa Art Museum, Hakone Checkpoint, or Hakone Shrine.
