Leave behind the bright lights and hustle-bustle of Tokyo for a day and instead immerse yourself in the natural scenery that surrounds the famous Mount Fuji. An unmissable opportunity to experience the iconic Japanese symbol by land, sea and air.
Mount Fuji Day Trip
Experiencing the iconic Mount Fuji, Japan's most revered symbol, is a must on your trip to Tokyo. We'll begin by meeting at the designated location, then take a bus to the Fifth Fuji Station, the gateway to exploring this breathtaking natural wonder. If the weather conditions prevent us from going further than the fourth station, we'll visit Oshino Hakkai instead.
After a short 2-hour drive, we'll arrive at the port, where you can take in an incredible panoramic view of Mount Fuji from over 2,000 meters (6,561 feet) above sea level. Following this, we'll head to a local restaurant near Mount Fuji to enjoy a buffet-style lunch.
Once we have re-energised, we'll soar above the landscape in the Hakone or Komagatake cable car, depending on the day. In both cases, the cable car will offer us aerial views of the region's mountains. If it's a clear day, we'll also get to see Mount Fuji.
The cable car will take us to Ashi Lake, where we'll enjoy an unforgettable boat ride. Sailing along this lake will be a unique experience that we're sure you'll remember for a long time to come.
Lastly, we'll take a bus to the Odawara Station. Here, we'll hop onto the Shinkansen bullet train, which will take us to Tokyo's station. If you prefer, you can take the bus back instead.
Depending on the tour option you select, this day trip will take between 10 and 11 hours.
