Tour Details
We will meet at a central location in Tokyo and embark on a bus journey of approximately 2.5 hours to Nikko. Our first stop is the Shinkyo Bridge, leading to the Toshogu Temple, which contains the tomb of the first shogun of the Tokugawa clan. We will provide insights into the cultural significance of this figure and discuss the unique animal decorations found in Nikko’s temples.
Next, we will visit the Kegon Waterfall, where you can spend about an hour enjoying lunch before proceeding to Lake Chuzenji, known for its stunning views. The tour concludes with a return trip to Tokyo, totaling approximately 11 hours.

Itinerary Changes
The order of visits may vary for organizational reasons. Adverse weather may limit access to Kegon Waterfall, potentially resulting in a stop at Rinnoji Temple instead. In January and February, visits to Kegon Waterfall and Lake Chuzenji may be replaced with a scenic tour of Rinnoji Temple and Futarasan jinja shrine.
