Want to know the secrets of a quintessential Japanese dish? In this sushi-making workshop in Tokyo, you'll learn to make your very own nigiri and maki.
Workshop Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at the Izumiya Akasaka building to begin the sushi-making workshop. Participants will put on a chef's hat and apron. The workshop begins with learning the traditional hand-washing technique, followed by grating fresh wasabi. Careful attention is required to avoid tearing up.
Next, we will prepare the rice, a key element of sushi, with the shaping process being crucial for taste. Once this is mastered, participants will move on to adding fresh ingredients from Tokyo's bay, including tuna, salmon, prawns, and squid, to create 8 different combinations of nigiri and 1 temaki.
Tasting your creations will follow. There is an option to include a sake tasting to enhance the experience. Before concluding the 2-hour workshop, there will be an opportunity to take photos at the counter.

During the booking process, you can choose between two options:
Standard Menu: Includes lean tuna, salmon, shrimp, egg, squid, and flying fish roe.Luxury Menu: In addition to the standard ingredients, includes medium-fat tuna, scallops, and salmon roe.
