Awe-inspiring skyscrapers and a thrilling tale are the protagonists of this free tour of Toronto, one of the most avant-garde cities in southeastern Canada. Ontario's capital city is simply mesmerising!
Description
Our free tour of Toronto will start at the indicated time in front of The Berczy Park Dog Fountain, located in the center of the 3,606-square-meter (0.891-acre) park.
We'll begin with a stop at the iconic Gooderham Building to explore its history, then proceed to the base of the CN Tower, which stands 553 metres (1,814 feet) high and is a symbol of Toronto.
The next stop will be in the Old Town neighbourhood at The Toronto Old City Hall, which opened in 1899 and is known for its neo-Romanesque architecture.
We will then visit the vibrant Nathan Phillips Square, located next to the former city hall, before heading to Toronto's Financial District to see Yonge-Dundas Square and Yonge Street, the longest street in the world.
Finally, after about three hours of sightseeing, our free tour of Toronto will conclude as we return to our original meeting point.
