Description
Our free tour of Toronto will start at the indicated time in front of The Berczy Park Dog Fountain, located in the centre of the 3,606-square-meter (0.891-acre) park.
We'll begin with a stop at the iconic Gooderham Building. After exploring its history, we will proceed to the base of the CN Tower, standing 553 metres (1,814 feet) high. This tower is the undisputed symbol of Toronto.
Next, we will visit the Old Town neighbourhood, with a stop at The Toronto Old City Hall, a former city hall opened in 1899, known for its neo-Romanesque architecture amidst skyscrapers.
We will explore Nathan Phillips Square, a central hub located next to the former city hall, and then proceed to Toronto's Financial District to visit Yonge-Dundas Square and Yonge Street, the longest street in the world.
Finally, after about three hours of sightseeing, our free tour of Toronto will conclude as we return to our original meeting point.
