Leave Spain behind for a day and explore Tangier, the gateway to Africa. Discover the unique beauty and lively atmosphere of the historic Moroccan city on this excursion from Torremolinos.

Tangier Day Trip Itinerary

We'll pick you up from Hotel Tent in Torremolinos early in the morning, and head to Tarifa, the port city in Cadiz, where you'll catch the ferry across the Strait of Gibraltar.

Upon arriving in Tangier, the adventure begins with a sightseeing bus tour through the neighborhoods of the New City, showcasing its most lavish areas.

The journey continues at the Petit Socco or Souk Dakhli, also known as "Little Square", formerly a key market, now surrounded by cafes and historic hotels.

Next, you'll explore the Medina, or Old Town, immersing yourself in the daily life of Tangier's locals. Navigating through its maze-like streets will lead you to the Kasbah, a Medieval citadel with stunning views over the port and bay.

Close to the old fortress, you'll enjoy a traditional Moroccan feast including Harira, beef skewers, chicken or vegetable couscous, Arab tea, and Moroccan sweets, before continuing your guided walking tour to a local bazaar.

Finally, after this memorable day, you'll return to the ferry port for your journey back to Tarifa and then to the meeting point in Torremolinos, arriving 15 hours later.
