Description

We will gather at 9 am directly in front of Camí del Ter Vell along the Passeig Marítim in Estartit, where a brief tutorial on kayak operation will be provided.

From Ter Vell Beach, we will set off for an exhilarating kayak adventure; the Medes Islands are a mere 20 minutes away! Throughout the journey, our guide will share fascinating anecdotes about this archipelago, including its history as a pirate hideaway.

During our excursion, we will also delve into the geological features of the Medes Islands, which include Meda Gran, Meda Petita, and other smaller islets like Tascons. Once we arrive at this stunning locale, we’ll pause to relax and take a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Costa Brava.

After our break, we’ll hop back into our kayaks and head back to Estartit, all while uncovering further insights about the Iles Medes Nature Reserve, which attained status as a Protected National Nature Park in 2010.

Our return to the original meeting point is scheduled for 11:30 am.
