Medes Islands Kayak Tour

Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Estartit coast with this Medes Islands Kayak Tour. You'll paddle in the Mediterranean waters around one of the Costa Brava archipelagos.

Description

At 9 am, we'll meet just in front of Camí del Ter Vell on the Passeig Marítim in Estartit, where we will receive brief instructions on how to use the kayaks.

We will depart from Ter Vell Beach in Estartit for a kayak tour; the Medes Islands are only 20 minutes away. During the trip, the guide will share information about this archipelago, historically an old pirate refuge.

We will learn about the geology of the Medas Islands, which include Meda Gran, Meda Petita, and smaller islands like the Tascons. Upon arrival, there will be a brief stop to rest and take a refreshing dip in this natural setting along the Costa Brava.

Afterwards, we will return to the kayaks to paddle back to Estartit, during which we will discover additional information about the Iles Medes Nature Reserve, designated as a Protected National Nature Park in 2010.

We will return to the starting point by 11:30 am.
