Discover two of Girona's medieval towns: Rupit and Besalú on this day trip from Tossa de Mar. You will also visit the country's highest sanctuary, at over 1000 metres above sea level.

Day Trip to Rupit and Besalú

We will meet at the bus station in Tossa de Mar and take a comfortable bus to the medieval city of Rupit.

After an hour and a half journey, we will arrive in Rupit, known for its stone houses. You will have time to explore at your own leisure, cross the hanging bridge, wander its cobblestone streets, and enjoy a typical local lunch.

After exploring Rupit, we will visit the Santuario de la Mare de Déu dal Far sanctuary, located over 1000 metres above sea level. You can take in the views, visit the chapel, and learn about its history.

We will continue to another medieval city, Besalú. Be sure to see its bridge.

After discovering these medieval towns, we will return to our meeting point in Tossa de Mar.
