Enjoy two of the most beautiful villages in Occitanie with this Albi and Cordes-sur-Ciel Day Trip from Toulouse. You can also download an audio guide in English with interesting facts about each place.

Albi and Cordes-sur-Ciel Day Trip

We'll depart at the designated time from 29 Allée Jean Jaurès in Toulouse. An hour later, we'll arrive in Albi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

In Albi, you'll have four hours of free time to explore its gastronomy and symbolic corners. A brochure in English with a map and discounts for major museums and monuments will be provided.

We recommend visiting Sainte Cecile, the largest brick cathedral globally, featuring frescoes depicting sacred scenes. Next to this temple is Berbie Palace, a former papal residence that now houses the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum. The palace gardens are designed in the refined French style.

Afterwards, we will meet in central Albi to head to Cordes-sur-Ciel, just half an hour away. You'll have two and a half hours free to explore this medieval town. Its old town preserves several fortifications, including the Porte des Ormeaux, one of the main town accesses.

Finally, after departing from Cordes-sur-Ciel, we will arrive back at the starting point in Toulouse after a total of 9 hours.
