Albi and Cordes-sur-Ciel Day Trip
We'll depart from 29 Allée Jean Jaurès in Toulouse. An hour later, we'll arrive in Albi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
In Albi, you'll have four hours of free time to explore its gastronomy and city highlights. A brochure in English will be provided, including a map and discounts for key museums and monuments.
Recommended visits include Sainte Cecile, the largest brick cathedral globally, featuring frescoes of sacred scenes. Nearby is Berbie Palace, a former papal residence now hosting the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum, along with its beautifully styled gardens.
Afterwards, we'll meet in Albi to head to Cordes-sur-Ciel, a village just half an hour away. You'll have two and a half hours free to explore this medieval town, which has preserved fortifications like the Porte des Ormeaux.
Finally, we will leave Cordes-sur-Ciel and return to Toulouse after a total of 9 hours.
