On this excursion from Tours, we'll visit Chenonceau and Chambord, two famous castles in Loire, along with a wine tasting at the Caves Ambacia wine cellars.

Description

The beautiful Loire Valley awaits us! We will depart from the Tourist Office in Tours at the indicated time. After a 40-minute minibus ride, we will arrive at the Château de Chenonceau, known as the "Château des Dames". This residence is famous for its arches over the Cher River. During our visit, we will explore its history and learn about the influential women who lived there, including a notable renaming of the palace from "Chenoceaux" to "Chenonceau".

After visiting Chenonceau, we will head to Amboise for a stop at Caves Ambacia, a renowned winery. Here, sommeliers will guide us through the underground galleries and conduct a tasting of three French wines.

After lunch on your own, we will visit the Château de Chambord, a significant monument of the Loire Valley and a royal residence promoting arts and sciences in the 16th century. We will see the legacy of Leonardo da Vinci in some architectural elements during our tour.

Following our tour of Chambord, we will return to Tours, arriving at the Tourist Office after approximately 9 hours.
