On this tour of the castles of Villandry and Azay-le-Rideau, we will visit two significant châteaux of the Loire Valley.

Chateaux de Villandry & Azay-le-Rideau Tour

At the indicated time, we will meet at the Tours Tourist Office to begin our tour of Château d'Azay-le-Rideau and Château de Villandry.

We will start by visiting the Château d'Azay-le-Rideau, located on an island in the Indre River. After arriving, we will admire the exterior architecture and then enter the castle to explore its furnished rooms.

Next, we will proceed to the Château de Villandry, known for its exquisite gardens. We will learn about its history and enjoy views of the Loire Valley from its viewpoints.

The tour will conclude with our return to the starting point in Tours after approximately 4 hours of sightseeing.
