Tamerza, Chebika & Mides Excursion

After picking you up at your hotel in Tozeur, we'll head north towards the El Hamma palm grove and the Shatt al Gharsah salt lake.

Our first stop will be the Chebika oasis. This lush orchard features a gorge, several waterfalls, and a mountain spring, previously discovered by the Romans, known as Ad Speculum.

We will visit the modern village of Chebika, known for its rocky terrain with prehistoric fossils. From Chebika, we will continue to the oasis of Tamerza, where you will see green landscapes and natural springs, contrasting with the surrounding desert.

The last stop will be the small oasis of Midès, located near the Algerian border. This area is noted for its dates and oranges. We'll also view the canyons used for protection in Roman times, where imperial remains are situated near the village of Midès.

After visiting Midès, we will return to your hotel in Tozeur, concluding the excursion after a total of 4 hours.
