Tour Details

At the designated time, we'll meet at the Apicella Winery in Tramonti, a key area of viticulture on the Amalfi Coast.

We will first explore the history of the winery and the A' Scippata family, the estate's owners. Next, we'll visit the vineyards, where the Mediterranean winds from the Gulf of Salerno enhance the vines. The nearby Vesuvius National Park contributes unique soil properties.

Inside the winery, we will examine the elaboration process of wine and the distinct fermentation and ageing processes for red and white wines.

The tour concludes with a tasting of local wines paired with typical products from Tramonti, such as cheese and cured meats. You will learn about the characteristics of each wine while appreciating the blend of tradition and innovation in Apicella wines.
