Embark on a day trip to visit Castel del Monte, one of the most notable castles in Italy, and learn about the history of an emperor who was ahead of his time.

Day Trip Details

At the indicated time, we will pick you up at Piazza Re Manfredi and depart Trani by minibus to Castel del Monte.

Upon arrival, we will commence a guided tour of the interior of the castle, exploring its halls and towers and learning about its architectural details.

Castel del Monte is an octagonal fortress constructed by Frederick II in the 13th century. Its unique form and architecture have established it as a jewel of medieval art, recognized as a World Heritage Site in 1996.

This castle is noted as one of the best-preserved in southern Italy, providing stunning views of the Apulia region ideal for photography.

After the visit, we will return to the meeting point in Trani, with a total duration of approximately 3 hours.
