El Dedo de Deus Hiking Tour

At your chosen time, we will meet at Parque das Laranjeiras and take a half-hour walk to the hiking route's starting point.

Upon arrival, we'll begin our hike down the trail to El Dedo de Dios, which translates to 'God's Finger.' This mountain ridge is also referred to as Pico da Canastra. The hike will last approximately two and a half hours, covering over 3.5 kilometers (about 2.2 miles) until we reach the summit for views of the Serra Gaucha.

After enjoying the views, we will descend through El Dedo de Dios, observing vegetation typical of dry climates including various cacti. We will stop to identify different botanical species along the way.

Throughout the tour, we will hear the sounds of howler monkeys and native birds, highlighting the area's biodiversity.

Finally, we will return to the starting point of the hike and then to Parque das Laranjeiras, arriving four and a half hours after pickup.
