El Dedo de Deus Hiking Tour

At the time of your choice, we'll meet at Parque das Laranjeiras for a half-hour walk to the hiking route's starting point.

Upon arrival, we'll begin our descent along the hiking trail to El Dedo de Deus, meaning 'God's Finger,' also referred to as Pico da Canastra. The trek lasts two and a half hours, covering over 3.5 kilometers (about 2.2 miles) to reach the summit and enjoy the natural environment of the Serra Gaucha.

After the panoramic views, we'll descend through El Dedo de Dios, observing vegetation typical of dry climates, including various cacti. We will stop along the way to learn to differentiate some botanical species.

During the tour, we will hear the sounds of howler monkeys and native birds, showcasing the region’s biodiversity.

Finally, we will return to the hike's starting point and then to Parque das Laranjeiras, arriving four and a half hours after the pickup.
