El Dedo de Dios Hiking Tour

We will meet at Parque das Laranjeiras at your chosen time and take a half-hour stroll to the hiking route's starting point.

Upon arrival, we will begin our descent on the hiking trail to El Dedo de Dios. This mountain ridge, also called Pico da Canastra, offers a hike covering over 3.5 kilometers (about 2.2 miles) in two and a half hours until we reach the summit to enjoy the environment of the Serra Gaucha.

After taking in the panoramic views, we will descend through El Dedo de Dios, observing typical dry climate vegetation and various cactus species. We will stop to learn about differentiating some botanical species.

During the tour, we will hear the sounds of howler monkeys and native birds, showcasing the area's biodiversity.

We will return to the hiking starting point and then to Parque das Laranjeiras, arriving four and a half hours after the initial pickup.
