El Dedo de Deus Hiking Tour

At the time of your choice, we'll meet at Parque das Laranjeiras and take a half-hour stroll to the start of our hiking route.

Upon arrival, we will begin our hike down the hiking trail to El Dedo de Deus, which translates to 'God's Finger.' This mountain ridge, also known as Pico da Canastra, will be our focus. Over two and a half hours, we will cover over 3.5 kilometers (about 2.2 miles) to reach the summit and admire the natural environment of the Serra Gaucha.

After enjoying the views, we will begin our descent through El Dedo de Deus. This section features vegetation typical of dry climates, including various types of cacti. We will stop to learn about different botanical species.

Throughout the tour, we will be able to hear the sounds of howler monkeys and various native birds, as this area boasts incredible biodiversity.

Finally, we will return to the starting point of the hike and then to Parque das Laranjeiras, arriving four and a half hours after pickup.
