- 1 Bewertung
Embark on this kayak tour along the Três Forquilhas River to explore the wildlife and flora surrounding its shores.
Description
We'll meet at Sítio Lima e Silva to start our kayak tour. First, we will proceed to the Chapéau River to organize our kayaking equipment. This area is known for a steamboat harbor built in the 1920s.
We will navigate through narrow canals to reach the Três Forquilhas River, named for the confluence of the Chapéu and Maior rivers. It serves as the main tributary to the Itapeva Lagoon, one of the largest in Rio Grande do Sul.
The kayaking journey covers a 5.5-kilometer (3.4 miles) stretch of the riverbed, showcasing the flora of the Atlantic Forest. If the weather permits, we will make a brief stop for a swim.
After approximately 3 hours, we will conclude the tour at the BR 101 road in Três Forquilhas, returning our kayaks and parting ways.
Return transfer
A return transfer to the starting point can be arranged after the kayak tour for a fee of 7BRL per person, to be organized directly on the day of the activity.
