On this day trip to Ljubljana from Trieste, Italy, we will cross into Slovenia to visit the capital with its historical center and castle.

Day Trip to Ljubljana

We will pick you up at your selected pickup point and head towards the Slovenian border. The scenic road trip will take just over an hour to reach Ljubljana.

As the cultural, economic, political, and administrative center of Slovenia, this capital's rich history is reflected in its medieval and baroque architecture.

We will explore the old town of Ljubljana, admiring architect Jože Ple?nik's transformation of the former provincial town into a capital, including bridges, squares, and parks.

During our guided tour, we will visit significant sites such as the Town Hall, Cathedral, Prešeren Square, and Congress Square, crossing the Triple Bridge and the Cobblers' Bridge. At midday, a break of about forty-five minutes will be provided for lunch at a local restaurant.

The Ljubljana Dragon, the city symbol residing in the Castle Tower, is another highlight. A cable car will take us to the fortress, where we can enjoy panoramic views.

We will return to Trieste after a total duration of 6 hours from pickup.
