Istria Food Tour
At 9 am, we'll meet at your chosen point in Trieste to begin our tour. We will visit three of the most attractive locations in Istria, known for their wine and culinary traditions.
Our first stop will be Hum, recognized for its Biska. With only 20 inhabitants, Hum is considered the smallest village in the world. We will explore the town, taste local products, and enjoy the mountainous landscape before proceeding to Motovun.
In Motovun, the most notable medieval town in Istria, we will observe the city walls and examine historical buildings, including the Church of St. Stephen from the 17th century. We will also taste one of its key local products, the truffle, which is essential to many Istrian delicacies.
Next, we'll head to Grožnjan, a village known for excellent wine and olive oil. It also features a variety of restaurants serving local cuisine and is celebrated as a town of art and music, attracting artists due to its picturesque landscapes.
The tour will conclude with a return to the starting point in Trieste.
