Piran & Slovenian Coast Tour

We'll pick you up at your chosen point in Trieste at the indicated time and head to the first stop, the city of Piran. After about 40 minutes of travel, we'll arrive to discover the beauties of this Slovenian town resembling Venice due to its 500 years of Venetian influence.

We will begin at Piazza Giuseppe Tartini, dedicated to the famous violinist born in Piran. This square features significant buildings including Tartini's birthplace, the Venetian palace, Tartini Theatre, and Town Hall. As we walk through the center, we will visit the Church of St. George and the city walls for scenic views.

Continuing our journey westwards, we will visit three key places along the Slovenian coast, starting with Portorož, where we will explore salt plains and enjoy a tasting of wine and typical Istrian products. Next, we will proceed to Izola and Koper, with our guide leading the tour of these seaside resorts. Koper is notable as the largest city on the Slovenian coast. We will observe beautiful landscapes enriched by sea and distant Alps.

After a comprehensive exploration of the Istrian coast, we will return to the starting point in approximately 5 hours.
