Spend a day relaxing and having fun in a rural community by going fishing in Camiaco. We'll set off from Trinidad and cast our reels as we try to catch fish such as pomfrets, surubí and tarpons.
Fishing in Camiaco
At 5 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Trinidad. After gathering everyone, we'll proceed to the rural community of Camiaco located along the Mamoré River, with a breakfast stop in the village of Loreto.
Upon arrival in Camiaco, we'll board a motor boat and head downstream to the Pojige stream. We will find a suitable spot to start fishing.
Using traditional techniques employed by local fishermen, you'll use spoons, rappels, buoys, live fish, meat, and fruit to catch different species such as curubinas, pomfrets, surubíes, coroneles, and pirapitingas.
The types of fish caught may vary based on the season. We will see who emerges as the best fisherman of the day!
After fishing, a lunch will be served, consisting of milanesa, salad, rice, eggs, and fruit for dessert. We will then return to Trinidad and drop you off at your hotel.
