Ibare-Mamoré Protected Area Tour

Starting at 8 am, we will head towards Puerto Ballivián, the gateway to the Ibare-Mamoré Municipal Protected Area. In Puerto Ballivián, we will board a boat for a 2.5-hour ride on the Ibare River to the confluence with the Mamoré River, stopping at Loma Suarez and San Carlos. Following the boat ride, we will walk through tropical plant crops and observe local fauna. We will then return to the boat for dolphin watching and swimming in the river before returning to your hotel by 4 pm.

Jesuit Missions of Moxos + Coitarama Lagoon

At 6 am, pickup will be at your hotel to visit San Javier and San Pedro, historical Jesuit missions. We will visit the church at San Javier, then continue to San Pedro for a lunch break. After lunch, we will explore Coitarama Lagoon or, if inaccessible, visit the Ipuru River to observe local wildlife. We will return to your hotel around 6 pm.

San Ignacio de Moxos Excursion

Beginning at 6 am, we will depart for San Ignacio de Moxos. The tour includes the Museum of Moxos and the Musical Archive of Moxos, followed by free time for lunch. We will then visit a luthier's workshop and conclude at the School of Music before returning to your hotel in the late afternoon.
