During this Topes de Collantes Natural Park tour, you will explore one of Cuba’s largest protected reserves, featuring waterfalls, grottos, natural pools, and diverse flora and fauna.

Topes de Collantes Tour

At 9 am, we will pick you up at your hotel in Trinidad and depart towards Topes de Collantes Natural Park.

The tour begins with a stop at El Mirador, a viewpoint at 1,640 feet (500 meters) above sea level, offering views of Valle de los Ingenios, Trinidad, and the Caribbean Sea.

After a brief history discussion, we will continue 5 miles (8 km) through Topes de Collantes, which encompasses one of Cuba's most extensive protected areas.

A visit to the community of Topes de Collantes will provide insight into local life, followed by a tour of a coffee plantation where arabica, robusta, and Liberian coffee are grown.

We will then proceed to Vegas Grande, where a moderate hiking route will allow you to discover local plants and animals. The hike culminates at a waterfall suitable for swimming.

After returning to the start of the trail, we will transport you to a local restaurant for a delicious lunch featuring typical Cuban dishes.

Post-lunch, we will return to Trinidad, arriving back at your hotel around 3 pm.
