Trinidad Tour + Mercado Campesino

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel and set off on our tour of Trinidad, the department of Beni's capital.

We'll visit some of the favourite haunts of this Bolivian city's residents, such as the Plaza Central, the outside of the colonial cathedral, and the Plaza de las Banderas. While we explore these spots, we'll learn about the history of the municipality, founded in one of the missions established by the Jesuits in the Moxos region, covering its pre-Hispanic, colonial, and republican history.

Next, we'll head to the San Juan stream, where we may spot lizards and capybaras, which are the largest rodents in the world, with some weighing more than 132 pounds (60 kilograms).

The tour will then take us to the Mercado Campesino, where we'll learn about the region's arts and crafts traditions and see local handicrafts, such as handbags and hats, along with unique elixirs and medicines made from Amazonian products.

You'll have time to explore the market and shop before being driven back to your hotel. Our arrival is scheduled for 1 hour 30 minutes after pickup.
