On this unforgettable road trip from Tromsø to Sommarøy, we'll drive along one of Norway's most scenic routes through valleys, fjords, seas, lakes, white sandy beaches, and iconic bridges.

Fjords Road Trip

At the indicated time, we'll meet at Roald Amundsens Plass 1A to start this exciting day trip to Sommarøy. We will cross the bridge to Kvaløya, where the landscape features crystal clear waters, blue skies, and fine white sandy beaches.

We'll stop at the Ersfjordbotn viewpoint, located right at the mouth of the Ersfjord fjord. The views here are memorable.

Continuing our journey, we will reach the turquoise waters of Sommarøy beach, a small island with approximately 320 inhabitants.

We will take a moment to enjoy a tasting of coffee and Norwegian soup or allow time to try a typical dish at local restaurants.

On the return trip, we may spot some reindeer. We will also pass by the Sjøtun pier, with views of Katfjord and the Hillesøy road.

We will conclude the trip at the starting point between 4 and 5 hours after the activity begins.
