On this unforgettable road trip from Tromsø to Sommarøy, we'll drive along one of Norway's most scenic routes, through valleys, fjords, seas, lakes, white sandy beaches, and iconic bridges.

Fjords Road Trip

At the indicated time, we'll meet at Roald Amundsens Plass 1A to commence this day trip to Sommarøy. We will first cross the bridge connecting to
Kvaløya, where the landscape transforms into crystal clear waters, blue skies, and fine white sandy beaches.

Next, we'll visit the Ersfjordbotn viewpoint, located at the mouth of the beautiful Ersfjord fjord. The views from this location are memorable.

Continuing our journey, we will reach the turquoise waters of Sommarøy beach, inhabited by approximately 320 residents.

While enjoying the scenery, we will pause for a tasting of coffee and Norwegian soup or allow time for you to sample a local dish at nearby restaurants.

On our return, be on the lookout for reindeer. We will also pass by the Sjøtun pier, with views of the Katfjord and the Hillesøy road.

Finally, we will conclude the trip between 4 and 5 hours after departure.
