Walking Tour of Tromsø
Meet us at the Prostneset bus terminal for an exciting walking tour of Tromsø. Explore the city's most important places of interest and discover significant events that have taken place here.
We will first stop in front of the Domkirke or Cathedral of Our Lady, the northernmost Catholic Church in the world. Next, we will see the City Hall and the contemporary Tromsø Library, renowned for its avant-garde architecture and home to the most important book collection in the Arctic.
Continuing to the harbour area, we will visit the famous Polar Museum. Through its exhibitions, we will learn about the legendary Norwegian adventurer, Roald Amundsen, and the adventurers who vied to be the first to visit the South Pole.
The tour will conclude 2.5 hours later.
