Whale Watching Fjord Cruise
- 8 - 9 Stunden
Discover the mammals that inhabit the Norwegian fjords on this whale watching boat trip.
Whale Watching Fjord Cruise
At 8 am, we'll meet at the pier next to Skarven Kro Restaurant on Kaigata Street in Tromsø. We will sail the icy waters of the Norwegian fjords.
During the winter months (from early November to the end of January), Tromsø’s waters attract Humpback whales, killer whales, porpoises, and other Arctic cetaceans seeking herring.
We'll cruise the Norwegian fjords to spot these mammals. Once seen, we will stop the boat to watch them surface and take photos. While whale watching, you can also visit the boat's bar, which offers hot drinks.
After witnessing this spectacle, we will return between 4 pm and 5 pm.
Important
We cannot guarantee whale sightings due to their wild nature and unpredictable weather conditions that can influence their behavior.
The trip duration is contingent on weather conditions and the time taken to spot whales, lasting between eight and nine hours.
This whale watching activity will be conducted without disturbing the animals, using a silent electric motor to avoid noise or vibrations harmful to cetaceans.
