Description
This tour to Chiclayo will take you to explore the Moche culture of northern Peru. Starting in Trujillo, we'll head north to Chiclayo. In Chiclayo, we'll visit the Plaza de Armas and Paseo de las Musas, experiencing the charm of this colonial city.
We'll then visit the Royal Tombs of Sipan, a museum with over 200 pieces of gold from the Moche and Chimu cultures. Next, we'll explore Huaca Rajada, the famous archaeological site housing the tomb of the Lord of Sipan, a significant discovery in the region.
Adjacent to the Tombs, we'll tour The Brüning Museum, showcasing the main cultures of the northern coast of Peru. On our way back to Trujillo, we'll stop in Lambayeque for lunch (not included) before returning to Trujillo after 17 hours.
