Chiclayo Tour

Huaca Rajada, the pyramids of Tucume and the Royal Tombs of Sipan are waiting for you, discover the Moche culture of northern Peru with this tour to Chiclayo!

Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Emtrafesa bus station in Trujillo. Once gathered, we'll take a public bus to northern Peru, where Huaca Rajada and Chiclayo await us.

The tour begins in Chiclayo, where we will see authentic vestiges of the Moche culture. We'll explore the city center, visiting the Plaza de Armas and the Paseo de las Musas.

Next, we will visit the Royal Tombs of Sipan, a museum housing over 200 pieces of gold from the Moche and Chimu cultures. Then, we proceed to Huaca Rajada, the most renowned archaeological site of the Moche culture, which contains the tomb of the Lord of Sipan, a significant finding.

Nearby, we will find The Brüning Museum, the first regional museum in Peru, where we will learn about the main cultures of the northern coast.

On our return to Trujillo, we will stop in the village of Lambayeque for lunch on your own, and after lunch, we'll head back to the departure point in Trujillo after approximately 17 hours.

Closure of the Royal Tombs

Please note that the Museum of the Royal Tombs of Sipan is closed on Mondays. It is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm.
