Chimu & Moche Cultures Tour + Marinera Show
At 9:40 am, we will meet at the Plaza de Armas in Trujillo and head southeast to the Moche countryside. During the tour, we will explore the lifestyle of the inhabitants of the Peruvian countryside, visiting the Huacas de la Luna to learn about the Moche culture, including polychrome murals and relief friezes.
Next, we will stop at Huaca Chica in Moche Pueblo, where you can have lunch at nearby restaurants. Afterward, we will enjoy a horse show and the 'Marinera,' a traditional Peruvian dance.
Following the show, we will visit Chan Chan, the largest adobe construction in America, covering 20 square kilometers and dedicated to the god of the sea.
After touring this archaeological complex, we will head to the coast, where you will have an hour of free time at Huanchaco Beach to watch the sunset or walk along the tourist pier. We will return to Trujillo, concluding the excursion at approximately 6:25 pm.
