Marinera Show with Peruvian Paso Horses

At 2 pm, we'll meet in the Plaza de Armas in Trujillo and set off for the Casa Campo Alcor, an institute dedicated to the raising and caring of these Peruvian horses.

Peruvian Paso horses are characterised by their llano step. We'll witness a show of these horses led by their chalanes, showcasing the elegance of their trot.

This folkloric dance has been declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Nation. The marinera dance with Peruvian Paso horses is a major tourist attraction in Trujillo and this region. The dance is performed in pairs and accompanied by music as dancers and riders in typical costumes display their grace.

After the show, lasting 30 to 45 minutes, we'll return to Trujillo, concluding at 4 pm back at the starting point.
