Sun + Moon Pyramids, Huanchaco & Chan Chan Tour

Join us to discover the pre-Columbian culture of Peru on this excursion to the Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, Huanchaco and the citadel of Chan Chan.

Tour Details

We'll meet at the Plaza de Armas in Trujillo at the scheduled time and proceed to the archaeological site of the Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, Huanchaco, and the citadel of Chan Chan. The first stop will be at Huaca Arco Iris and Huaca Esmeralda. After these visits, we will explore the ancient citadel of Chan Chan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the largest adobe cities in America, including the Palace of Nik An.

Next, we will visit Huanchaco, where you will have some free time to have lunch. Afterward, we will visit the Museum Huaca de Moche and proceed to the archaeological site featuring the Sun and Moon Pyramids. We will walk alongside the remains to learn about society in the Trujillo Valley during the pre-Columbian Moche era.

After approximately 8 hours of activity, we will return to the starting point.
