Day Trip to Las Coloradas & Río Lagartos

Experience the enchantment of a pink lagoon with our Las Coloradas and Río Lagartos excursion.

Tour Highlights

We'll meet at the Super Akí in Tulum at the scheduled time and begin our journey to Las Coloradas. A light breakfast will be served during the trip. Upon arrival, insights into the salt collection process will be provided, set against the scenic backdrop.

This area is ideal for spotting flamingos, as the waters of Las Coloradas contain the microorganism artemia salina, responsible for the stunning pink hues, which also affect the coloration of the flamingos.

Following this, we will embark on a boat tour of the Rio Lagartos nature reserve, where you can observe diverse flora and fauna, including crocodiles, flamingos, and mangroves.

A refreshing swim will take place at a pristine beach, and a visit to a crocodile farm will allow us to learn about these animals. Afterward, we will enjoy lunch featuring local cuisine at a local restaurant.

After replenishing our energy, we will return to the starting point, concluding our excursion.
