Kaan Luum Lagoon Excursion + Mariposa & Chen-Ha Cenotes

Want to visit unique places in the Yucatan Peninsula? On this excursion, we'll visit the Kaan Luum Lagoon and swim in the Mariposa and Chen-Ha cenotes.

Description

After picking you up at your hotel between 7 and 9 am, we'll head to the Kaan Luum Lagoon, a notable natural area in the Yucatan Peninsula.

Upon arrival at the lagoon, we'll walk along its shore to appreciate the turquoise waters and mangroves. Questions about the lagoon's color and its historical significance will be addressed during the tour.

Next, we'll proceed to the Mariposa cenote, where you'll have around 40 minutes for swimming.

Following your swim, we'll have lunch at a local restaurant featuring a typical Mexican dish of your choice from a diverse menu of traditional recipes.

After lunch, we'll explore the Chen-Ha cenote, observing stalactites and stalagmites and learning about their geological origins. The excursion will also include a Maya ceremony aimed at purifying body and mind.

We'll conclude by returning to your hotel, arriving between 4 and 5 pm.

The tour includes hotel pickup from main hotels in Tulum, Akumal, Cancun, Costa Mujeres, Playa del Carmen, Puerto Aventuras, and Puerto Morelos. For those in private homes or other accommodations, an alternative meeting point will be provided after booking.
