You will be picked up from your hotel in Tunis at the scheduled time to begin your guided tour of Carthage and Sidi Bou Said.

The tour will start at the archaeological site of ancient Carthage. Upon arriving at Byrsa hill, you will see the first ruins of this historic city, founded by the Phoenicians in the 9th century BCE and later conquered by the Romans and occupied by Arabs. With an English-speaking guide, you will explore the remains of ancient Carthage and visit key ruins, including the commercial and military ports.

Next, you will visit the Tophet of Carthage, a sacred cemetery and sanctuary dedicated to the deities Tanit and Baal, where you can admire Carthaginian funerary and religious artwork.

Your journey continues to the coastal town of Sidi Bou Said, located a short ten-minute drive from Carthage. As you walk through the town's labyrinthine lanes, you will experience the contrast between the whitewashed houses and the blue of their doors and the Mediterranean Sea visible from various viewpoints.

Sidi Bou Said is also known for its lively atmosphere and numerous shops and cafes, offering opportunities for souvenir shopping and enjoying tea or coffee with panoramic views. After exploring, you will return to Tunis and be dropped off at your hotel after a total of 6 hours.
