The tour begins at the archaeological site of ancient Carthage. You will visit Byrsa hill to see the initial ruins of the historic capital, founded by the Phoenicians in the 9th century BCE. The site was later conquered by the Romans and occupied by the Arabs, reflecting a diverse cultural heritage. Your English-speaking guide will lead you through the remains, highlighting the legendary history and significant ruins such as the commercial and military ports.

Next, you will visit the Tophet of Carthage, a sacred cemetery and sanctuary dedicated to deities Tanit and Baal, where you can admire ancient funerary and religious artwork.

The tour proceeds to the coastal town of Sidi Bou Said, a short ten-minute drive from Carthage.
