Dougga & Bulla Regia Tour Itinerary

After being picked up from your hotel in Tunis at 8 am, you will board a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle for your excursion to the archaeological sites of Dougga and Bulla Regia.

Following a two-hour drive, your first stop will be Bulla Regia, a significant Roman archaeological site. A guided tour will provide insights into the origins and history of the ancient Punic, Berber, and Roman settlement, showcasing well-preserved ruins, including colorful mosaic floors.

Your next destination will be Dougga, located over an hour away. Upon arrival, you will enjoy lunch at a traditional restaurant before continuing your tour.

After lunch, visit Dougga's Roman theatre, built in the 2nd century CE, which could seat over a third of the town's population at that time. Follow your English-speaking guide through the ruins, exploring the Square of the Rose of the Winds, the market, the capitol temple, the forum, and the baths, experiencing the well-preserved structures and informative commentary.
