Los Arenales route
Departing from Tunuyán, we head into the Andes mountain range alongside the Arroyo Grande river until we reach the rocky canyon of Los Arenales, where our hike begins. We will follow a path adjacent to the river, gradually ascending among the rocks for over an hour. You will discover a lagoon at the summit.
We will take a break in this setting to enjoy typical Argentine empanadas and Mendoza wine before our descent back to Tunuyán.
Puntanos Pass route
Leaving Tunuyan, we drive to the base of Cerro Pajaritos mountain, where the hike begins. The path ascends around the mountain, offering views across the Uco Valley, eventually reaching a rock ledge with a stunning landscape view. We will then descend into the canyon, rich in lush vegetation.
