At 1:30 pm we'll meet at the Piazzetta Reale at the main entrance of Turin's Royal Palace to begin the tour.

The exterior is austere, but the interior reveals its status as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Royal Palace was the main residence of the Savoy dynasty, which made Turin the first capital of modern Italy. As you explore the various halls, you will learn about the family's significant power.

A highlight of the palace is the remarkable armoury, the second most important in Europe. The guide will present intriguing items and share their historical context. Points of interest include the main hall adorned with gold and gemstones and the chandelier lounge.

We will also visit the Chapel of the Holy Shroud, originally built to house the Shroud of Turin, which is no longer located there due to a great fire.

The tour concludes at 3 pm in front of the Royal Palace of Turin.
