At 1:30 pm, we will meet at the Piazzetta Reale at the main entrance of the Royal Palace. The tour will start promptly.

The exterior may appear austere and simple, but the interior reveals a rich history that led to its designation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Royal Palace was the primary residence of the House of Savoy, which played a crucial role in establishing Turin as the initial capital of modern Italy.

Highlights of the tour include the remarkable armoury, the second most significant in Europe. The guide will present key artifacts and elaborate on their historical context. We will also explore the Baroque-style palace, including the main hall adorned with gold and precious stones, and the chandelier lounge.

The tour will include a visit to the Chapel of the Holy Shroud, originally constructed to house the Shroud of Turin, which is no longer located there following a great fire that posed a threat to its safety.

The tour will conclude at 3 pm in front of the Royal Palace of Turin.
