At the selected time, we'll meet at the Via Accademia delle Scienze and head to the Museo Egizio to begin this guided tour.
We'll enter the oldest Egyptian museum in the world, founded almost 100 years earlier than Cairo's. Jean-François Champollion once remarked, "The road to Memphis and Thebes passes through Turin".
As we explore the museum's rooms, you will see sarcophagi, mummies, canopic jars, and other remains of ancient Egypt. The museum also features a section dedicated to papyrus and hieroglyphics writing.
One highlight will be the Temple of Ellesiya, built during the reign of Pharaoh Thutmose III. The guide will share insights about this site and various artifacts within the museum.
The tour will conclude outside the Egyptian Museum after a two-hour exploration of the gallery.
