Hike Through the Ruins of Lagoinha
We will meet at Rua Colonial in Ubatuba at the established time to begin the hiking tour through the ruins of Lagoinha.
During the non-strenuous hike, we will visit the ruins of an old mill at Fazenda Bom Retiro, an archaeological site declared Historical Heritage of the State of São Paulo in 1985, to protect Ubatuba's legacy.
Throughout this walking tour, we will discuss how this farm became one of the largest producers of coffee, sugar, and brandy in Brazil, and that these ruins were associated with the first glass factory in Brazil.
After visiting the ruins of Lagoinha, we will continue to the Velo da Novia waterfall, offering views of the spectacular landscapes of this area.
Finally, the hiking trip through the ruins of Lagoinha will conclude after three hours of walking, returning to the starting point.
