Tour Details

Úbeda is known for its rich history and stunning monuments, and is also a city of eerie legends. At the designated time, we'll meet at the Gate of Granada, associated with a hidden treasure. Prepare to discover the legend of the juancaballos, half-man, half-horse creatures that appear at night, along with other mysteries in Úbeda.

We'll first reach the Plaza de San Lorenzo to see the 16th-century Casa de las Torres (Palacio de los Dávalos), where a woman's body was found during renovations. We'll explore the circumstances of her death.

Next is the Casa de Luna y Sol, decorated with two coats of arms. We'll uncover which historical figure lived here. Then, we'll visit the heart of Úbeda's old town, the majestic Vázquez de Molina Square, home to the Basílica y Real Colegiata de Santa María la Mayor de los Reales Alcázares de Úbeda, an asset of cultural interest rumored to be haunted by an elf. The square also features the Holy Chapel of the Savior, noted for its beautiful stone facade.

We'll head to the Plaza de San Pablo with the Church of San Pablo, discussing the festivity known as La Pastora, which is no longer celebrated due to a past violent event. Lastly, we'll learn about Hernán Crespo, a notable resident of Úbeda, before concluding our 2-hour tour at the Palacio de los Condes de Guadiana, revealing the mystery within its walls.
