Full-Day Private Trip to Kumbhalgarh Fort

After being picked up from your hotel in Udaipur, you will travel to the Kumbhalgarh monumental complex, approximately a two-hour drive away.

Your expert English-speaking guide will provide insights into the powerful Mewar kingdom, the rationale behind the construction of this large fortress in the Aravalli Hills, and the threats it was designed to defend against. You will enter the Kumbhalgarh fortress to appreciate the strength of this extensive walled palace complex, featuring defensive walls that extend around 22 miles, making it the second longest in the world.

The fort includes over 350 different religious sanctuaries and shrines, including a notable Jain Temple. Its carved stone walls display a range of sculptures that depict various scenes, representing the customs and traditions of Hindu culture.

After visiting other temples, including the prominent Muchhal Mahavir, you will have the option to dine at a nearby local restaurant, sampling typical regional cuisine. The return trip to Udaipur will take approximately 5 to 6 hours post-exploration.
