Full-Day Private Trip to Kumbhalgarh Fort

You will be picked up from your hotel in Udaipur and transported to the Kumbhalgarh monumental complex, approximately a two-hour drive from the city.

With your expert English-speaking guide, you will learn about the Mewar kingdom, the reasons for constructing such a large fortress in the Aravalli Hills, and the adversaries they aimed to defend against. You will visit the Kumbhalgarh fortress to appreciate the strength of this walled palace complex, featuring defensive walls that are about 22 miles long, making it the second longest in the world.

The fort contains over 350 religious sanctuaries and shrines, including a notable historic Jain Temple, characterized by intricately carved stone walls and diverse sculptures depicting various scenes. You can explore the customs and traditions of Hindu culture through these images.

After visiting other beautiful temples in the complex, including the remarkable Muchhal Mahavir, you will proceed to a local restaurant to enjoy traditional cuisine if desired. The return to Udaipur is scheduled for approximately 5 to 6 hours later.
