Gorkhi-Terelj National Park & Genghis Khan Statue Tour

The excursion begins with a pickup from your hotel in Ulaanbaatar at 9:30 am, followed by a one-hour journey to Gorkhi-Terelj National Park.

Upon arrival, experience the diverse landscapes of the national park, highlighted by a rock formation resembling a giant turtle. We will also visit the Ariyabal Meditation Temple, a Buddhist monastery situated on a hilltop.

Next, spend an hour exploring Gorkhi-Terelj National Park on horseback and engage with a local family to learn about the traditional nomadic lifestyle in Mongolia.

After the horseback riding, enjoy a lunch featuring typical Mongolian dishes. Following the meal, we will board the minibus for a thirty-minute journey to the largest equestrian statue in the world.

The tour concludes at the Genghis Khan Statue Complex, where you can admire the 131-foot (40-meter) stainless-steel statue and learn about its historical significance. Experience stunning views from the statue's summit.

We will return to Ulaanbaatar, arriving at your hotel by approximately 4:30 pm.
