On the day of your excursion, pick-up will be from your hotel in Ulaanbaatar at 9:30 am, followed by a journey of approximately one hour to Gorkhi-Terelj National Park.

Upon arrival, explore the landscapes and unique characteristics of the Mongolian steppe. Notable sights include a large rock formation resembling a turtle and a visit to the Ariyabal Meditation Temple, a Buddhist monastery on a hilltop.

Next, spend one hour horseback riding within Gorkhi-Terelj National Park, then meet a local family to learn about the traditional nomadic way of life in Mongolia.

After the horseback excursion, enjoy a lunch featuring typical Mongolian delicacies. Following lunch, board the minibus for a thirty-minute drive to the largest equestrian statue in the world.

At the Genghis Khan Statue Complex, marvel at the 131-foot (40 metre) tall stainless-steel statue while learning about Genghis Khan, the founder and first emperor of the Mongolian Empire. Admire the views from the top of the statue.

At the end of the tour, return to Ulaanbaatar, with drop-off at your hotel around 4:30 pm.
