Semi Gobi Desert Tour

Pickup from your hotel in Ulaanbaatar will be at 8 am. A minibus will take you to the Semi Gobi Desert, characterized by arid terrain surrounded by mountainous greenery.

As we drive through the Mongolian steppe and reach the desert, enjoy coffee or tea with a snack. A local family will provide insight into their traditional nomadic lifestyle.

Experience life in the desert with an hour-long camel or horse ride, taking in the scenic dunes and mountains.

After the ride, a delicious lunch of local specialties will be served, including buuz (steamed dumplings), khuushuur (meat-filled pastries), and tsuivan (noodle dish), finished with tea and cookies.

Refreshed, we will undertake a short trekking route through the dunes for a closer view of the desert landscapes before departing the Semi Gobi and returning to Ulaanbaatar. You will be dropped off at your hotel by approximately 7 pm.
