Beagle Channel Cruise & Sea Lion Island

After meeting up at Ushuaia tourist pier, we'll set sail towards the islands of the Beagle Channel, the narrow waterway in Tierra del Fuego that serves as the natural border between Argentina and Chile.

Our cruise will take us near the Isla de los Pájaros, or Bird Island, where you can observe various bird species including seagulls, albatrosses, and ducks. The trip continues to Isla de los Lobos, or Sea Lion Island, where you will have the chance to photograph the sea lion colony.

We will visit the islet where the Les Éclaireurs Lighthouse is located, home to a large colony of cormorants. You will also learn about the shipwreck of the SS Monte Cervantes, which sank in the 1930s.

Next, we will stop at Puerto Karelo for a brief 20-minute guided tour, giving you the opportunity to photograph local wildlife. After the walking tour, we will return to the boat for the cruise back to the starting point, concluding our 2.5 hour tour.
